Most problems aren't really problems. A phone that keeps freezing usually just needs the right app closed. A laptop that runs hot has been open for six days. The trick isn't knowing everything. It's knowing what to try first, and in what order.

I cover the space where hardware and software meet — the part most people skip past. I try to explain it the way I'd explain it to my grandma, because that's how I figured it out in the first place. If something's broken, there's usually a reason. Usually a small one. Usually a setting you didn't know was on.
