How to Install Chipset Drivers on Windows 11

  1. Identify your hardware model. Press Win + R, type msinfo32, and press Enter. Locate 'BaseBoard Manufacturer' and 'BaseBoard Product' to determine your motherboard model, or check your laptop's specific serial number sticker.
  2. Download the latest chipset driver. Navigate to the official support website for your hardware manufacturer. Search for your specific model, locate the 'Drivers & Tools' section, and download the latest Chipset Driver package verified for Windows 11.
  3. Extract the installation files. Locate the downloaded file in your Downloads folder. If the file is compressed, right-click the folder and select 'Extract All', then choose a destination to save the contents.
