Verifying App Functionality After Mac Migration

A systematic workflow to validate application integrity, data migration, and system permissions after moving your environment to a new Mac.

1. Check for mandatory software updates. Open the App Store and select Updates from the sidebar. Install all pending updates to ensure apps are optimized for your current version of macOS and your new architecture.
2. Validate core system permissions. Navigate to System Settings > Privacy & Security. Review sections for Accessibility, Full Disk Access, and Screen Recording to ensure your applications retain the necessary permissions to function as expected.
3. Execute clean application launches. Launch each primary application individually. Observe the splash screen and initial UI load to identify missing library dependencies or registration errors.
