How to Fix an Android Device Stuck on the Boot Logo

Resolve Android boot loop issues with step-by-step recovery mode procedures. Restore your device to operational state without professional repair.

  1. Perform a forced restart. Press and hold the Power button and Volume Down button simultaneously for 15 to 30 seconds. Release both buttons once the screen turns off and the device attempts to reboot. This clears temporary system interruptions that may cause a boot hang.
  2. Enter Recovery Mode. Power off the device completely. Press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons until the bootloader menu appears on the screen. Use the volume buttons to scroll through the menu and the Power button to select Recovery Mode.
  3. Wipe the system cache partition. Within the Recovery menu, navigate to Wipe cache partition using the volume keys. Confirm the action by pressing the Power button. This operation removes temporary system files that often cause boot conflicts without deleting user data.
  4. Factory reset the device. If the cache wipe fails, select Wipe data/factory reset from the Recovery menu. Confirm your choice by selecting Yes to proceed. This process will erase all personal data, photos, and settings from the device.
  5. Reboot the system. After the reset process completes, ensure the Reboot system now option is highlighted. Press the Power button to finalize the command. The device will take longer than usual to boot for the first time.
