How to Configure Streaming Profiles

Learn how to create and manage personalized streaming profiles to keep your recommendations, watch history, and parental controls separate.

  1. Navigate to the Account menu. Open your streaming application on your television. Use your remote to navigate to the user avatar icon, usually located in the top navigation bar or the side menu.
  2. Select the Add Profile option. Within the account menu, select the option labeled Add Profile or New Profile. This command triggers the creation wizard for a blank user instance.
  3. Assign a profile name and icon. Use the on-screen keyboard to enter a unique name for the user. Select a designated avatar or color theme to distinguish this profile from others in the list.
  4. Set parental control preferences. Toggle the Kid's Profile switch if the account is for a child. This restricts content access based on age-appropriate ratings predefined by the service.
  5. Save the new profile settings. Select the Save or Done button at the bottom of the screen. The application will refresh, and the new profile will appear in the main user selection menu.
