How to Schedule TikTok Posts
Learn to schedule TikTok posts using Creator Tools, third-party apps, and desktop methods. Save time with automated posting strategies.
- Switch to a TikTok Pro account. Open TikTok and tap your profile icon. Go to Settings and privacy > Account > Switch to Pro account. Select Creator account when prompted. This unlocks TikTok's native scheduling feature in Creator Tools.
- Access TikTok Creator Tools. Visit www.tiktok.com/creator-center on desktop or mobile browser. Log in with your TikTok credentials. Click Content > Post to access the scheduling interface. The mobile app does not have native scheduling.
- Upload and configure your video. Click Upload video and select your file. Add your caption, hashtags, and privacy settings. Choose your cover image and enable or disable comments, duets, and stitches before proceeding to schedule.
- Set your publishing schedule. Click Schedule at the bottom instead of Post. Select your desired date and time using the calendar picker. TikTok allows scheduling up to 10 days in advance. Confirm your timezone is correct before saving.
- Monitor scheduled posts. Return to Creator Tools > Content > Post to view your scheduled content queue. Edit or delete scheduled posts by clicking the three dots next to each item. TikTok will automatically publish at your specified times.
- Consider third-party scheduling tools. Download Later, Buffer, or Hootsuite for advanced scheduling features like bulk uploads, analytics, and cross-platform posting. These apps require connecting your TikTok account and may have posting limitations compared to native tools.
