How to Use ChatGPT Enterprise
ChatGPT Enterprise provides businesses with enhanced AI capabilities, administrative controls, and enterprise-grade security. This version offers unlimited access to GPT-4, advanced data analysis tools, and comprehensive team management features.
- Access your Enterprise workspace. Navigate to chat.openai.com and sign in with your Enterprise credentials. Your organization's workspace will load automatically with the Enterprise interface. Look for the Enterprise badge in the top-left corner to confirm you're in the business environment.
- Configure your profile settings. Click your profile icon in the bottom-left corner and select Settings. Set your display name, notification preferences, and data retention settings. Enable or disable conversation history based on your company's data policies.
- Start a conversation with GPT-4. Click New Chat or press Cmd+Shift+O (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+O (Windows). Enterprise users get unlimited access to GPT-4 without usage caps. Type your prompt and press Enter to begin the conversation.
- Upload and analyze files. Click the paperclip icon or drag files directly into the chat window. ChatGPT Enterprise supports documents, spreadsheets, images, and code files up to 512MB. The AI can analyze, summarize, or answer questions about your uploaded content.
- Use Advanced Data Analysis. Enable Advanced Data Analysis from the model selector when working with datasets. Upload CSV files, databases, or spreadsheets and ask ChatGPT to create charts, run statistical analysis, or generate insights. The tool can write and execute Python code to process your data.
- Manage team conversations. Access the Team tab in your sidebar to view shared conversations if your admin has enabled team features. Create shared workspaces by clicking New Shared Chat and inviting team members. Set permissions for who can view, edit, or contribute to shared conversations.
- Access admin controls. If you have admin privileges, click the Admin panel in your settings. Configure user permissions, set data retention policies, manage billing, and monitor usage across your organization. Set up single sign-on (SSO) integration and define which features are available to different user groups.
- Implement security best practices. Review your organization's data handling policies in the Enterprise dashboard. Use the conversation export feature to back up important discussions. Enable two-factor authentication and ensure all team members follow your company's AI usage guidelines.
