How to Upgrade to Gemini Advanced

Gemini Advanced provides enhanced AI capabilities, priority access during peak times, and advanced reasoning features beyond the free Gemini tier. Upgrading requires a Google One AI Premium subscription.

1. Open Gemini in your browser. Navigate to gemini.google.com and sign in with your Google account. Ensure you're using the same Google account you want to associate with the Advanced subscription.
2. Click the Upgrade button. Look for the "Upgrade" button in the top-right corner of the Gemini interface, typically next to your profile picture. If you don't see an upgrade option, click on the Gemini logo or your profile picture to access account options.
3. Select the Google One AI Premium plan. Choose the Google One AI Premium subscription for $19.99/month. This plan includes Gemini Advanced access plus 2TB of Google Drive storage and other Google One benefits.
4. Complete the payment setup. Enter your payment method and billing information. Google will process the payment and activate your subscription immediately upon confirmation.
5. Confirm your upgrade. Return to the Gemini interface. You should see "Gemini Advanced" indicated in the interface, typically in the top-left area. Your conversations will now use the enhanced model with improved reasoning capabilities.
6. Access Advanced features. Start a new conversation to experience Gemini Advanced capabilities. The model will automatically use enhanced processing for complex queries, coding tasks, and detailed analysis requests.
