How to Cancel Your Gemini Advanced Subscription

Gemini Advanced subscriptions can be canceled through Google's subscription management system. The process stops future billing immediately while maintaining access until your current billing period ends.

1. Access Google Account subscriptions. Open your web browser and navigate to myaccount.google.com. Sign in with the Google account linked to your Gemini Advanced subscription. Click 'Payments & subscriptions' in the left sidebar, then select 'Manage subscriptions'.
2. Locate Gemini Advanced subscription. Scroll through your active subscriptions list to find 'Gemini Advanced' or 'Google One AI Premium'. The subscription will display your current billing cycle and next payment date. Click on the subscription entry to open its management page.
3. Cancel the subscription. On the subscription details page, click 'Cancel subscription' at the bottom of the page. Google will present retention offers or alternative plans. Click 'Continue to cancel' to proceed with cancellation.
4. Confirm cancellation reason. Select your cancellation reason from the dropdown menu. Options include 'Too expensive', 'Not using it enough', or 'Found a better alternative'. Click 'Continue' after making your selection.
5. Complete the cancellation. Review the cancellation summary showing your access end date. Click 'Cancel subscription' to finalize the process. Google will send a confirmation email to your account's primary email address within minutes.
6. Verify cancellation status. Return to your subscriptions page and refresh the browser. The Gemini Advanced subscription should now show 'Canceled' status with your access expiration date. You retain full access until this date.
