How to Show Hidden Tray Icons on Windows 11

Learn how to manage, show, and hide system tray icons on the Windows 11 taskbar to keep your workspace organized and efficient.

  1. Open Taskbar Settings. Right-click any empty space on the taskbar. Select Taskbar settings from the context menu to launch the System settings panel.
  2. Locate System Tray Settings. Within the Taskbar settings menu, find the Taskbar corner overflow section. Click the downward arrow to expand the list of icons currently managed by Windows.
  3. Enable Visible Icons. Review the list of installed applications. Switch the toggle to On for any application you wish to keep visible in the taskbar corner at all times.
