How to Use Control Center on Apple Watch

Master your Apple Watch settings with this guide to accessing, customizing, and managing features via the Control Center.

  1. Open Control Center. Ensure your watch face is currently active. Press the side button once to reveal the Control Center menu on any screen.
  2. Toggle System Settings. Tap any icon to modify your device status. Icons with blue backgrounds indicate active features such as Wi-Fi, Silent Mode, or Focus modes.
  3. Scroll for More Options. Use your finger to scroll down or rotate the Digital Crown to view additional tiles. You can access settings for AirPlay, Find My, and Battery percentage from this view.
  4. Edit Control Center Layout. Scroll to the bottom of the Control Center list and tap Edit. Drag the handle on each icon to rearrange them or tap the minus sign to remove unused buttons.
  5. Dismiss Control Center. Press the side button again or swipe down from the top of the screen to close Control Center. You will return to your previously active app or watch face.
