How to Use DALL-E on Bing

Bing integrates OpenAI's DALL-E image generation directly into Microsoft's search engine and dedicated Image Creator tool. This integration lets you create AI-generated images without separate subscriptions or complex setups.

  1. Access Bing Image Creator. Navigate to bing.com/create or search 'Bing Image Creator' in any browser. Sign in with your Microsoft account when prompted. The service requires authentication to track usage limits and save your creations.
  2. Enter your image prompt. Type your image description in the text box at the top of the page. Be specific about style, composition, colors, and details. Click 'Create' or press Enter to begin generation. The system processes four variations simultaneously.
  3. Wait for generation to complete. DALL-E processes your request for 15-30 seconds. A progress indicator shows the generation status. The page displays four different interpretations of your prompt once complete. Each image offers a unique take on your description.
  4. Select and customize your image. Click any generated image to view it full-size. Use the download button to save the 1024x1024 pixel image to your device. Click 'Customize' to make variations or adjustments to the selected image.
  5. Refine with new prompts. Click 'Create' again with modified prompts to generate new variations. Add or remove elements from your original description to fine-tune results. Each new generation creates four fresh interpretations.
  6. Access your creation history. Click 'Recent' in the top navigation to view previously generated images. Your history stores images for several months with their original prompts. Click any historical image to download or create variations.
