How to Use Claude on iPhone

Claude is Anthropic's AI assistant available as a native iPhone app. The app provides conversational AI capabilities, document analysis, and creative assistance directly on your device.

1. Download Claude from the App Store. Open the App Store on your iPhone. Search for 'Claude by Anthropic' and tap Get to download the official app. The app is free and requires iOS 15.0 or later.
2. Create your account or sign in. Launch the Claude app and tap Sign Up to create a new account with your email address. If you already have an Anthropic account, tap Sign In instead. Verify your email address when prompted.
3. Start your first conversation. Tap the compose button at the bottom of the screen to begin a new conversation. Type your question or request in the text field and tap the send arrow. Claude responds in real-time with detailed, helpful answers.
4. Upload images for analysis. Tap the camera icon next to the text field to add photos from your camera roll or take new pictures. Claude can analyze images, read text from photos, explain diagrams, and answer questions about visual content.
5. Manage conversation history. Access previous conversations by tapping the menu icon in the top-left corner. Your chat history syncs across devices when signed in. Swipe left on any conversation to delete it permanently.
6. Customize your experience. Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner to access settings. Adjust notification preferences, enable dark mode, and manage your subscription if you upgrade to Claude Pro for unlimited usage.
