How to Use Claude on Android

Claude is Anthropic's AI assistant available as a mobile app for Android devices. The app provides conversational AI capabilities, document analysis, and creative assistance directly on your phone or tablet.

1. Download Claude from Google Play Store. Open Google Play Store and search for 'Claude by Anthropic'. Tap the official Claude app with the orange icon. Tap Install and wait for the download to complete.
2. Create your account. Launch Claude and tap Sign Up. Enter your email address and create a secure password. Verify your email through the confirmation link sent to your inbox.
3. Start your first conversation. Tap the message input field at the bottom of the screen. Type your question or request and tap the send arrow. Claude will respond within seconds with a detailed answer.
4. Upload and analyze documents. Tap the attachment icon (paperclip) next to the message field. Select a document, image, or PDF from your device. Ask Claude to analyze, summarize, or answer questions about the uploaded content.
5. Manage conversation history. Tap the hamburger menu (three lines) in the top-left corner to view your conversation list. Tap any previous conversation to continue where you left off. Swipe left on a conversation to delete it.
6. Customize your experience. Access Settings through the hamburger menu. Adjust notification preferences, manage your account details, and review usage limits. Toggle dark mode in Display settings for comfortable nighttime use.
