How to Cancel Claude Pro Subscription
Claude Pro subscribers can cancel their subscription at any time to return to the free tier. Cancellation stops future billing while maintaining access to Pro features until the current billing period ends.
- Log into your Claude account. Navigate to claude.ai and sign in with your credentials. Ensure you're using the same account associated with your Pro subscription.
- Access your account settings. Click your profile icon in the bottom-left corner of the Claude interface. Select 'Account Settings' from the dropdown menu.
- Navigate to billing settings. In the Account Settings page, locate and click on the 'Billing' or 'Subscription' tab. This displays your current plan details and billing information.
- Cancel your subscription. Find the 'Cancel Subscription' button or link within the billing section. Click it to initiate the cancellation process.
- Confirm cancellation. Review the cancellation details, including when your Pro access will end. Click 'Confirm Cancellation' or 'Cancel Subscription' to finalize the process.
- Verify cancellation status. Return to your billing settings to confirm the subscription shows as cancelled. You should see your account scheduled to downgrade to the free plan on your next billing date.
