How to Customize Quick Settings on Windows 11
Learn how to add, remove, and rearrange your Windows 11 Quick Settings menu for faster access to your most used system controls.
- Open the Quick Settings panel. Click the network, volume, or battery icon located in the bottom-right corner of the taskbar. This action reveals the Quick Settings flyout menu.
- Enter edit mode. Locate the pencil icon situated at the bottom of the Quick Settings panel. Click this icon to transition the interface into its customizable state.
- Unpin unnecessary controls. To remove a button, click the unpin icon (a small broken link or circle icon) located in the corner of the tile. The control will immediately disappear from your active menu.
- Add new settings. Click the Add button at the bottom of the grid. Select the desired setting from the list of available modules to instantly append it to your panel.
- Rearrange the panel layout. Click and hold a tile to drag it to a new position within the grid. Release the mouse button once the tile is in your preferred location.
- Save your configuration. Click the Done button at the bottom of the panel to save your changes. Your updated Quick Settings menu is now ready for use.
