How to Customize Quick Settings on Windows 11

Learn how to add, remove, and rearrange your Windows 11 Quick Settings menu for faster access to your most used system controls.

  1. Open the Quick Settings panel. Click the network, volume, or battery icon located in the bottom-right corner of the taskbar. This action reveals the Quick Settings flyout menu.
  2. Enter edit mode. Locate the pencil icon situated at the bottom of the Quick Settings panel. Click this icon to transition the interface into its customizable state.
  3. Unpin unnecessary controls. To remove a button, click the unpin icon (a small broken link or circle icon) located in the corner of the tile. The control will immediately disappear from your active menu.
  4. Add new settings. Click the Add button at the bottom of the grid. Select the desired setting from the list of available modules to instantly append it to your panel.
  5. Rearrange the panel layout. Click and hold a tile to drag it to a new position within the grid. Release the mouse button once the tile is in your preferred location.
  6. Save your configuration. Click the Done button at the bottom of the panel to save your changes. Your updated Quick Settings menu is now ready for use.
