How to Mirror Focus Mode Between iPhone and Apple Watch

Synchronize your Focus settings across iPhone and Apple Watch for seamless status management. Follow these steps to enable cross-device Focus mirroring.

  1. Access iPhone Focus settings. Unlock your iPhone and navigate to Settings. Tap the Focus menu to view your active Focus profiles and global notification preferences.
  2. Activate cross-device sharing. Within the Focus menu, locate the Share Across Devices toggle. Ensure this switch is set to the ON position to allow your iPhone to broadcast state changes to all linked Apple devices.
  3. Check Apple Watch synchronization. Raise your wrist and press the side button to open the Control Center on your Apple Watch. Ensure the Focus icon reflects the same status currently active on your iPhone.
  4. Modify watch-specific Focus behavior. If you require unique behavior on your watch, open the Watch app on your iPhone. Navigate to General, then tap Focus to manage how specific profiles handle alerts on the wearable hardware independent of the global mirror.
