Verifying Activity Data After Apple Watch Transfer

Ensure your fitness streaks and health data transferred correctly to your new Apple Watch with these verification steps.

  1. Verify iCloud Health synchronization. On your paired iPhone, navigate to Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Show All. Ensure the toggle for Health is set to ON to allow your activity history to sync between devices.
  2. Confirm Activity rings in the Fitness app. Open the Fitness app on your iPhone. Tap the Summary tab and ensure the current day's Activity rings match the status shown on your Apple Watch face.
  3. Inspect historical data in the Health app. Open the Health app on your iPhone. Tap the Browse tab, select Activity, and tap Workouts to ensure your historical workout list is populated with data from your previous watch.
  4. Check Achievement badges. Within the Fitness app, tap the Sharing tab or your profile icon at the top right, then select Awards. Verify that your earned monthly challenges and milestone badges are present.
  5. Force a manual data sync. If data is missing, toggle Bluetooth off on your iPhone for 10 seconds and turn it back on. This refreshes the connection and forces the Apple Watch to push pending health packets to the iPhone.
