How to Customize Apple Watch Complications
Maximize your Apple Watch efficiency by adding and configuring complications for quick access to app data directly from your watch face.
- Enter the face editing mode. Wake your Apple Watch and ensure the watch face you wish to edit is currently active. Press and hold firmly on the display until the edit interface appears, then tap the Edit button below the watch face preview.
- Switch to the complications tab. Swipe left across the screen until you reach the Complications selection screen. You will see highlighted frames indicating where complications can be placed on your specific face design.
- Choose a complication slot. Tap the desired complication slot on the watch face display. The screen will transition to a list of available applications and their corresponding complication formats.
- Assign the data provider. Rotate the Digital Crown to scroll through the list of available apps. Tap the app you want to display, then select the specific data type or sub-function if prompted by the application.
- Save your configuration. Once you have assigned all desired slots, press the Digital Crown once to exit the selection menu. Press the Digital Crown again to confirm your changes and return to the active watch face.
