  1. Download and pair Samsung Health app. Install Samsung Health from Google Play Store or Galaxy Store on your smartphone. Open the app and tap 'Connect a device' then select your Galaxy Watch model. Follow the pairing prompts to establish the connection between your watch and phone.
  2. Configure personal health profile. Open Samsung Health on your phone and tap the Profile tab at bottom right. Enter your age, height, weight, gender, and activity level. This data calibrates the watch sensors for accurate calorie burn and heart rate zone calculations.
  3. Enable automatic heart rate monitoring. On your Galaxy Watch, open Settings > Advanced features > Samsung Health. Toggle on 'Heart rate' and select 'Continuous' measurement. Set stress measurement to 'Auto detect' to monitor stress levels throughout the day.
  4. Set up sleep tracking. In the Samsung Health app on your phone, tap Sleep and then the settings gear icon. Enable 'Detect sleep automatically' and set your typical bedtime and wake-up hours. Turn on 'Sleep coaching' for personalized sleep improvement tips.
  5. Configure workout detection. Open Samsung Health on your watch and swipe to Workout. Tap the settings icon and enable 'Auto detect workouts'. Select which activities you want automatically tracked, such as walking, running, or cycling. Set the minimum duration for detection.
  6. Set daily activity goals. In Samsung Health on your phone, tap the Home tab and scroll to 'Goals'. Set targets for steps, active minutes, and floors climbed. The watch will send notifications and progress updates throughout the day to help you reach these goals.
  7. Enable health notifications. On your watch, go to Settings > Notifications > Samsung Health. Turn on notifications for workout reminders, inactivity alerts, and goal achievements. Customize the frequency and timing to match your preferences.
