How to Reset Bluetooth Settings on Wearable Devices

Learn how to reset the Bluetooth settings on your wearable device to resolve connectivity issues and pair with a new smartphone or tablet.

  1. Remove the wearable from your host device. Open the Bluetooth settings menu on your primary device. Locate the wearable in the list of paired devices and select Forget This Device to remove the existing handshake profile.
  2. Access the wearable settings menu. Wake the screen on your wearable and navigate to the Settings application. Use the digital crown or touch screen to scroll until you locate the Connectivity or Bluetooth sub-menu.
  3. Initiate the network settings reset. Select Reset Network Settings or Forget All Devices from the Bluetooth configuration menu. Confirm the action when the device prompts you to finalize the deletion of all stored pairing data.
  4. Perform a fresh pairing sequence. Place your wearable into discovery mode by following the manufacturer's specific key combination. On your host device, navigate to the Bluetooth settings and select the wearable once it appears in the Available Devices list.
