How to Transfer a Cellular Plan to a New Apple Watch
Move your cellular service from an old Apple Watch to a new one using the Watch app on your iPhone. Follow these steps to activate your plan.
- Remove the plan from the old watch. Open the Watch app on your iPhone. Navigate to the My Watch tab, tap All Watches, select your old watch, and tap the Info (i) button. Select Remove Cellular Plan to unlink the service from the hardware.

- Restore from backup. When prompted to restore data, select the most recent backup from your old watch. This configuration process moves your settings and apps to the new hardware.
- Set up cellular service. During the final stages of the Watch setup process, you will be asked to configure cellular. Tap Set Up Cellular. You will be redirected to your carrier’s login portal.
