How to Customize Your Apple Watch Face and Complications
Learn to personalize your Apple Watch with custom faces and complications. Follow this guide to optimize your display for productivity and style.
- Enter the face gallery. Unlock your Apple Watch and press the Digital Crown to view your current watch face. Perform a long-press on the display to enter the carousel mode, then swipe to the far right until you see the plus (+) icon.
- Choose a watch face style. Scroll through the available options using the Digital Crown. When you find a design that suits your needs, tap the Add button to set it as your active watch face.
- Edit your watch face. From your watch face, perform a long-press until the Edit button appears. Tap Edit to enter the configuration interface, where you can swipe between tabs to adjust colors, styles, and symbols.
- Select and place complications. Swipe left until you reach the Complications screen. Tap on any highlighted placeholder to view a list of available apps and data points, then use the Digital Crown to select the specific information you wish to display.
- Apply your changes. Once your layout is configured, press the Digital Crown once to exit the edit mode. Press the Digital Crown again to confirm your selections and return to the active watch face.
