How to Clear Storage Space on Your Smartwatch
Clear storage space on your smartwatch by removing unused apps, offline music, and cached activity data. Follow these steps to restore performance.
- Check current storage usage. Open the Settings app on your smartwatch and navigate to General > Storage. Review the list to identify which applications occupy the most space.
- Remove unused applications. Navigate to your app screen. Long-press on an icon until the apps begin to jiggle, then tap the 'X' button or 'Remove App' option. Confirm deletion to immediately reclaim the occupied storage space.
- Clear offline music and podcasts. Open the music or podcast app on the watch. Locate the downloaded content folder and select the items you no longer require. Swipe left on the specific tracks or episodes and select Delete or Remove.
- Clear temporary cache files. Some devices allow clearing cache through the application settings menu. If your specific model lacks this, initiate a forced restart by holding both the side button and the digital crown until the logo appears to force the system to purge temporary log files.
- Confirm storage recovery. Return to Settings > General > Storage to verify the new Available capacity. Ensure the storage meter reflects the space reclaimed from the deleted files and applications.
