How to Fix Earbuds Not Connecting to a Wearable

Resolve connection issues between your wireless earbuds and wearable device with these step-by-step troubleshooting instructions.

  1. Verify battery levels. Place your earbuds into their charging case and ensure the indicator light signifies a charge. Confirm your wearable device has at least 20% battery remaining to ensure power management settings are not suppressing Bluetooth functionality.
  2. Toggle Bluetooth on the wearable. Navigate to the Settings menu on your wearable device. Select Bluetooth, toggle the switch to Off, wait ten seconds, and toggle it back to On to reset the radio state.
  3. Clear existing pairings. Locate the earbuds in your wearable's Bluetooth device list. Tap the information icon or the gear icon next to the device name and select Forget This Device or Unpair to remove the existing configuration.
  4. Initiate pairing mode. Place both earbuds into the charging case and leave the lid open. Press and hold the physical setup button on the case until the LED indicator flashes white, signaling the device is ready to discover new hosts.
  5. Complete the connection. Return to the Bluetooth settings menu on your wearable. Select your earbuds from the list of Available Devices and follow any on-screen prompts to finalize the authentication process.
