How to Customize Your Apple Watch Faces
Master your Apple Watch interface. Follow these steps to add, edit, and configure your watch faces for optimal information density and style.
- Enter the watch face gallery. Press the Digital Crown once to ensure you are on the current watch face. Firmly press and hold the center of the display until the face shrinks and the Edit button appears.
- Add a new watch face. Swipe left through your current watch faces until you reach the end. Tap the large plus (+) sign to open the Face Gallery and scroll through the available designs. Tap a face to add it to your collection.
- Configure face aesthetics. From the editing screen, tap the Edit button on your selected face. Swipe left or right to switch between configuration menus for Style, Color, and Font. Rotate the Digital Crown to cycle through options within each category.
- Assign complications. Swipe to the Complications screen while in Edit mode. Tap the highlighted regions on the watch face preview to choose specific data sources. Use the Digital Crown to select from the list of installed apps that support widget-style complications.
- Save your configuration. Press the Digital Crown once to exit the configuration menus. Press the Digital Crown a second time to confirm your changes and return to the active watch face.
