How to Customize Your Apple Watch Control Center

Learn how to add, remove, and reorder buttons in the Apple Watch Control Center to streamline your access to essential features.

  1. Open the Control Center. Press the side button on your Apple Watch once to open the Control Center. Ensure you are on the watch face or within an app to trigger this view.
  2. Enter edit mode. Scroll to the very bottom of the Control Center screen. Tap the Edit button to begin modifying the layout.
  3. Remove existing icons. Locate the minus (-) button in the top-left corner of any icon you wish to remove. Tap the button to hide the item from your primary Control Center view.
  4. Add new icons. Scroll past your current icons to the bottom of the list. Tap the Add (+) button on any available feature to include it in your active Control Center.
  5. Reorder the layout. Touch and hold an icon, then drag it to your preferred position. Release the icon to lock it into the new slot.
  6. Save your changes. Press the Done button located at the bottom of the screen. Your changes are immediately applied to the Control Center.
