How to Customize Your Activity Ring Goals

Learn how to adjust your Move, Exercise, and Stand goals on Apple Watch to align your fitness tracking with your personal health objectives.

  1. Open the Activity app. Press the Digital Crown to view your app grid or list. Locate and tap the Activity app icon, which displays your current rings.
  2. View your daily totals. Scroll down using the Digital Crown or swipe up from the bottom of the screen. Tap the Change Goals button located at the bottom of the summary view.
  3. Adjust your Move goal. Tap the minus or plus buttons to decrease or increase your active calorie goal. Changes are applied immediately to the current day.
  4. Adjust your Exercise goal. Tap the Next button or swipe left to access the Exercise goal screen. Use the plus and minus controls to set your desired duration in minutes.
  5. Adjust your Stand goal. Proceed to the Stand goal screen by tapping Next or swiping left. Adjust the number of hours you must stand for at least one minute during the day.
  6. Confirm your changes. Tap the OK button after updating your Stand goal to save your new settings. Your rings will update instantly to reflect the modified targets.
