How to Add Guest Access Codes to Your Smart Lock

Learn how to generate, manage, and assign guest access codes to your smart lock to provide secure, temporary entry for visitors without sharing master keys.

1. Open the lock management interface. Launch the dedicated smart lock application on your smartphone. Select your specific lock from the dashboard to open the device control screen.
2. Access the Guest Access menu. Tap the Settings icon in the corner of the device screen. Locate and select 'Guest Access' or 'Keypad Codes' from the menu list.
3. Add a new guest entry. Tap the '+' icon or 'Add Guest' button. Enter the guest's name and assign a unique 4-to-8 digit PIN code that is not easily guessed.
4. Define access permissions. Select the access duration type. Choose 'Always', 'Recurring' for specific days, or 'Temporary' to set a hard start and end date for the code.
5. Finalize the code registration. Press 'Save' or 'Done' to push the settings to the lock. The lock will synchronize with the app via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi to activate the new code.
