- Initiate the Setup Assistant. Power on your Mac to launch the Setup Assistant. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your region and keyboard layout until you arrive at the Sign in with your Apple ID screen.
- Enter your credentials. Enter your existing Apple ID email address and password. If you do not have an account, select Create New Apple ID and follow the prompts to register using a verified email address.
- Verify with two-factor authentication. Check your trusted Apple device for a six-digit verification code. Enter this code into the prompt on your Mac to authorize the device for your account.
- Access System Settings. If the Mac is already on the desktop, click the Apple menu in the top-left corner of the screen. Select System Settings to manage your account configuration.
- Link your Apple ID. Click Sign in to your Apple ID at the top of the sidebar. Input your credentials and follow the prompts to enable iCloud features such as Find My, Keychain, and Photos sync.
- Configure iCloud Sync. Toggle the switches for the specific services you want to synchronize with your Mac. Confirm your selection to complete the integration process.
