How to Review and Manage Trusted Devices on iPhone
Manage your Apple ID security by reviewing devices signed into your account. Follow these steps to remove unrecognized hardware from your Apple ecosystem.
- Access your Apple ID settings. Open the Settings app from your Home Screen. Tap your name banner located at the very top of the menu to open the Apple ID configuration panel.
- Scroll to the device list. Scroll down past the primary subscription and payment information. The list of all devices currently signed in with your Apple ID appears at the bottom of this page.
- Examine device details. Tap on any individual device in the list to view its technical specifications. Review the device model, serial number, and OS version to verify it belongs to you.
- Remove an unrecognized device. If you identify a device that you no longer own or do not recognize, tap the red Remove from Account button at the bottom of the device detail screen. Confirm your selection in the pop-up prompt to revoke its access.
- Update your account security. If you removed an unknown device, navigate back to the main Apple ID settings screen and select Sign-In & Security. Update your password immediately to ensure the unauthorized user cannot sign in again.
