How to Organize Your iPhone Home Screen

Master your iPhone home screen organization with these precise steps for apps, folders, widgets, and pages management.

  1. Enter jiggle mode. Long-press any empty area on your Home Screen until the icons begin to animate. This state allows you to move, delete, or group apps.
  2. Create application folders. While in jiggle mode, drag one app icon directly on top of another app. The system will automatically generate a folder and name it based on the app categories.
  3. Hide unnecessary home screen pages. Tap the page dots indicator at the bottom of the screen while in jiggle mode. Uncheck the circles under any pages you wish to hide from view.
  4. Add and stack widgets. Tap the plus (+) icon in the top-left corner while in jiggle mode. Select a widget, choose its size, and tap Add Widget to place it on your Home Screen.
  5. Save your layout. Press the Done button in the top-right corner of the screen to exit jiggle mode. Your changes are saved instantly.
