How to Hide Notification Badges on iPhone

Clean up your Home Screen by disabling notification badges for specific apps. Follow these steps to manage your iPhone alerts effectively.

  1. Open the Settings application. Locate and tap the Settings icon on your Home Screen. This application contains all system-level configurations for your device.
  2. Access the Notifications menu. Scroll down the main Settings list and tap Notifications. This menu displays a complete list of every app installed on your iPhone.
  3. Choose the target application. Browse the app list and tap the specific application for which you want to hide the notification badge. The system will display the individual alert settings for that app.
  4. Disable the Badges toggle. Locate the Badges switch within the Alerts section. Tap the toggle so the switch turns grey, indicating that the feature is now disabled.
  5. Confirm the Home Screen update. Return to your Home Screen. The previously visible numbered badge on the app icon will no longer appear, regardless of pending notifications.
