How to Export Photos Before Erasing Your iPhone
Learn the most efficient methods to transfer your full-resolution photos from iPhone to Mac or PC before wiping your device clean.
- Disable Optimized Storage. Go to Settings > Photos. Ensure 'Download and Keep Originals' is selected to ensure full-resolution files are present on the device before transfer.
- Establish a Wired Connection. Connect your iPhone to your computer using a high-quality USB cable. If a prompt appears on your iPhone screen, tap 'Trust' and enter your device passcode to authorize the connection.
