How to View Your iPhone App Privacy Report

Analyze your iPhone app data usage, sensor access, and network activity with the App Privacy Report. Step-by-step instructions for iOS 18.

  1. Navigate to Privacy Settings. Open the Settings app on your iPhone. Scroll down and tap Privacy & Security to access your device’s security oversight tools.
  2. Open App Privacy Report. Scroll to the bottom of the screen. Tap App Privacy Report to view the logged data patterns.
  3. Review Data and Sensor Access. Inspect the Data & Sensor Access section to see which apps have accessed your location, camera, microphone, or contacts. Tap Show All to expand the list and identify specific frequency metrics.
  4. Monitor App Network Activity. Scroll to the App Network Activity section to see which domains your apps have contacted. Tap an application to view a chronological list of its server connections and the time of each request.
  5. Manage App Permissions. If you find concerning activity, return to the main Settings menu. Select the specific app to modify its access to camera, microphone, location, or tracking permissions.
