How to Review Apple ID Sign-in Alerts on iPhone

Verify your account security by reviewing recent Apple ID sign-in attempts on your iPhone. Follow these steps to monitor devices and remove unauthorized access.

  1. Open the Settings application. Locate and tap the Settings icon on your Home Screen. Tap your name banner at the very top of the menu to open your Apple ID profile settings.
  2. View the device list. Scroll down past your subscriptions and payment methods. The section below displays a list of every device currently signed into your Apple ID, sorted by hardware type.
  3. Examine device details. Tap on any specific device entry to view detailed information. Verify the device model, the OS version, and whether the device is trusted for iCloud and Find My services.
  4. Remove unauthorized devices. If you identify a device you do not recognize, tap 'Remove from Account' at the bottom of the device detail screen. Confirm your choice to immediately sign that device out of all Apple services.
  5. Update security credentials. After removing an unrecognized device, return to the main Apple ID menu. Tap 'Sign-In & Security' and select 'Change Password' to invalidate any active sessions the unauthorized user may have captured.
