How to Review and Manage App Logins on iPhone
Secure your accounts by auditing saved passwords and passkeys on your iPhone. Follow these steps to manage active app logins via iCloud Keychain.
- Open the Passwords application. Open the Settings app on your iPhone. Scroll down and tap on the Passwords menu, identified by a key icon. Authenticate using Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode.
- Audit your saved login entries. Scan the list of accounts to identify apps you no longer use. Tap on any entry to view the stored username, password, or passkey associated with that specific application.
- Check for compromised credentials. Tap Security Recommendations within the Passwords menu. Identify any entries flagged with a warning icon, which indicates that a password has appeared in a known data leak or is reused across multiple services.
- Delete outdated app logins. To remove a login, swipe left on the entry in the main list. Tap the red Delete button to permanently erase the credentials from your iCloud Keychain across all synced devices.
- Verify iCloud Keychain sync. Ensure your logins remain backed up by navigating to Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Passwords & Keychain. Confirm that Sync this iPhone is toggled to the On position.
