How to Configure Live Voicemail on iPhone
Enable and configure Live Voicemail on your iPhone to view real-time transcriptions of incoming calls as they happen. Complete setup instructions.
- Access your Phone settings. Open the Settings app on your iPhone. Scroll down until you locate the Phone icon, then tap it to open the Phone preferences menu.
- Locate the Live Voicemail menu. Within the Phone settings screen, scroll to the section labeled Calls. Tap on Live Voicemail to view the feature toggles.
- Enable the feature. Ensure the toggle switch next to Live Voicemail is set to the On position. When active, the switch will display a green background.
- Observe the incoming call interface. The next time you receive a call, let it ring without answering. The call will automatically be directed to Live Voicemail, and the transcription will appear in real-time on your Lock Screen.
- Pick up the call. If the transcription indicates you wish to speak to the caller, tap the Accept button on the screen while they are still leaving the message. This interrupts the voicemail and connects you to the caller immediately.
