Migrate from Android to iPhone Using Move to iOS

Seamlessly transfer data from your Android device to a new iPhone with the Move to iOS app. Learn the step-by-step process.

  1. Install Move to iOS on your Android device. Navigate to the Google Play Store on your Android device. Search for 'Move to iOS' by Apple. Tap 'Install' to download and install the application.
  2. Begin iPhone setup and reach the Apps & Data screen. Turn on your new iPhone and follow the on-screen setup steps. Continue until you reach the 'Apps & Data' screen. Do not proceed past this screen until your Android device is ready.
  3. Select 'Move Data from Android' on your iPhone. On the 'Apps & Data' screen of your iPhone, tap 'Continue'. You will see an option labeled 'Move Data from Android'. Tap this option to proceed.
  4. Open Move to iOS and enter the code on your iPhone. Open the Move to iOS app on your Android device. Tap 'Continue' and agree to the terms and conditions. On your iPhone, tap 'Continue' on the 'Move from Android' screen. A ten-digit or six-digit code will appear on your iPhone. Enter this code into the Move to iOS app on your Android device.
  5. Choose data to transfer and wait for completion. Your iPhone will create a temporary Wi-Fi network. Tap 'Connect' on your Android device to join this network. You will then see a 'Transfer Data' screen. Select the content you wish to transfer, such as contacts, message history, camera photos and videos, web bookmarks, mail accounts, and calendars. Tap 'Continue' to start the transfer.
  6. Finish setup on your iPhone. Once the transfer is complete, tap 'Done' on your Android device. Continue with the rest of the iPhone setup process. Your imported data will be available on your iPhone.
