How to Fix iPhone Cellular Data Issues
Restore cellular data connectivity on your iPhone with these systematic troubleshooting steps. Resolve network connection issues quickly.
- Toggle Airplane Mode. Open Control Center by swiping down from the top-right corner of your screen. Tap the Airplane Mode icon, wait ten seconds, and tap it again to re-enable cellular radios.
- Check Cellular Data Settings. Navigate to Settings > Cellular. Ensure the Cellular Data toggle is switched to the On position. Verify that your primary carrier plan is active under the SIMs section.
- Check for Carrier Settings Updates. Go to Settings > General > About. If an update is available, a prompt will appear automatically within 15 seconds. If no prompt appears, your carrier settings are current.
- Perform a Forced Restart. Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Press and hold the Side button until the Apple logo appears on the display.
- Reset Network Settings. Navigate to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset. Select Reset Network Settings and confirm. This clears all saved Wi-Fi passwords, Bluetooth connections, and VPN configurations.
