How to Customize Your iPhone Lock Screen
Learn to personalize your iPhone Lock Screen with custom fonts, widgets, and dynamic wallpapers using iOS 18 features.
- Enter the Lock Screen editor. Wake your iPhone and ensure it is unlocked using Face ID or Touch ID. Long-press on any empty space on your Lock Screen until the Gallery view appears, then tap the Customize button at the bottom of the screen.
- Choose a wallpaper style. Select Lock Screen from the dual-preview screen. You may choose from suggested photos, dynamic weather displays, astronomy themes, or solid color gradients from the wallpaper picker.
- Adjust the time display. Tap the time readout on the Lock Screen preview. Select a new font weight and typeface from the menu, then use the color slider to pick a specific hue or saturation level for the digits.
- Add functional widgets. Tap the rectangular frame beneath the time to open the widget selector. Tap or drag your preferred widgets into the designated area to display battery levels, calendar events, or activity rings.
- Save and activate. Tap the Done button in the top-right corner once your configuration is complete. Select Set as Wallpaper Pair if you wish to apply the same design to your Home Screen, or choose Customize Home Screen for a separate look.
