How to Customize iPhone Contact Posters
Learn to create and customize your iPhone Contact Poster to control how you appear on other people's devices when you call them.
- Access the Contacts app. Open the Contacts app on your iPhone. Tap your name at the very top of the list, labeled My Card, to enter your personal contact settings.
- Enter Contact Photo & Poster edit mode. Tap on Contact Photo & Poster located under your name. If you have not created one yet, tap Edit in the top right corner of your card, then tap Edit again beneath your circular profile icon.
- Select a poster style. Tap the plus (+) icon or swipe to the end of your existing posters to create a new one. Choose from Camera, Photos, Memoji, or Monogram to begin building your visual layout.
- Configure font and color. Tap your name to change the font style, weight, and color. Use the color slider to select a specific shade, or swipe horizontally to change the background filter style if using a photo.
- Finalize your selection. Tap Done in the top right corner to preview your poster. Tap Continue to confirm and select whether you want to update your Apple ID profile picture to match your new poster.
- Set sharing preferences. Ensure Name and Photo Sharing is toggled on within your contact card settings. Choose between sharing automatically with your contacts or selecting Always Ask to approve sharing on a case-by-case basis.
