How to Review and Manage Trusted Devices on iPad

Learn how to secure your Apple ID by reviewing and removing trusted devices connected to your iPad in just a few simple steps.

  1. Open the Settings application. Locate and tap the Settings icon on your iPad Home Screen. Ensure your device is connected to the internet to sync your current device list.
  2. Select your Apple ID profile. Tap your name at the very top of the left-hand sidebar. This opens your Apple ID account menu where all associated services and devices are managed.
  3. Scroll to the device list. Scroll down the right side of the screen to view the list of devices currently signed into your Apple ID. Each device displays its name, model, and current status.
  4. Examine individual device details. Tap on any specific device to view its detailed information. You will see the device model, serial number, OS version, and if it is currently registered for Find My.
  5. Remove an unrecognized device. If you do not recognize a device or no longer use it, tap Remove from Account at the bottom of the device detail screen. Confirm your choice by tapping Remove in the subsequent confirmation dialog.
