How to Restore App Subscriptions on iPad
Restore lost access to your iPad subscriptions by triggering the App Store verification process. Follow these steps to sync your Apple ID purchases.
- Confirm your Apple ID status. Open the Settings app on your iPad. Tap your name at the top of the sidebar and verify that you are signed in with the same Apple ID used to purchase the subscription.
- Locate the subscription within the app. Launch the specific app where your subscription is missing. Navigate to the app's settings, profile, or account menu to find the premium subscription management screen.
- Select the Restore Purchases button. Search for a button labeled Restore Purchases, Restore Subscription, or Restore. Tapping this command forces the app to query Apple’s servers for your existing entitlement.
- Check subscription status in App Store settings. If the in-app restore fails, open the App Store app. Tap your profile icon in the top right corner and select Subscriptions to confirm the item appears under the Active list.
- Force restart the application. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to the center to open the App Switcher. Swipe the app card up and off the screen to close it completely, then relaunch the app to see if the restored status syncs.
