How to Enable Themed Icons on Android

Standardize your Android home screen aesthetic by enabling dynamic themed icons that match your wallpaper's color palette.

  1. Access the home screen settings. Navigate to an empty area on your home screen. Long-press on the wallpaper to open the context menu, then select Wallpaper & style.
  2. Activate the themed icon toggle. Scroll down within the Wallpaper & style menu until you see the Themed icons option. Toggle the switch to the On position to enable color-matching for supported apps.
  3. Adjust your color palette. Stay within the Wallpaper & style menu and select the Colors tab. Choose between Wallpaper colors or Basic colors to influence the hue of the themed icons.
  4. Review home screen changes. Return to your home screen by swiping up or pressing the Home gesture bar. Observe that your system apps and supported third-party apps now reflect the chosen color scheme.
