How to Share Albums in Google Photos
Learn how to share your photo albums in Google Photos on Android. Follow these steps to grant access, manage permissions, and collaborate with others.
- Open the target album. Launch the Google Photos app. Tap the Library tab in the bottom navigation bar and select the album you wish to share under the Albums section.
- Trigger the share interface. Tap the Share icon located in the top-right corner of the screen. This opens the sharing configuration menu for your specific album.
- Add people to the album. Select contacts from your suggested list or enter their email address or phone number in the search bar. Tap Send to dispatch an invitation to view or contribute to the album.
- Manage link sharing settings. Tap the three-dot More icon in the top-right corner and select Options. Toggle the Link sharing switch to generate a URL that you can copy and send directly to others via messaging apps.
- Enable contributor permissions. Within the Options menu, toggle the Collaborate switch to allow invitees to add their own photos and videos to the album. You can also toggle Comment and Likes to manage social interaction within the album.
