How to Review and Manage Trusted Devices on Android

Secure your Google account by reviewing devices with access. Follow these steps to audit your trusted device list and revoke access from unrecognized hardware.

  1. Open your Google Account settings. Open the Settings app on your Android device. Scroll down and tap Google, then select Manage your Google Account to enter the centralized account dashboard.
  2. Access the security tab. Within the Google Account dashboard, locate the horizontal navigation menu at the top of the screen. Swipe left until you see the Security tab and tap it to view your account protection status.
  3. View your devices. Scroll down to the Your devices section. Tap Manage all devices to display a complete list of every device currently signed into your Google account.
  4. Identify unrecognized devices. Review the list for hardware you no longer own or do not recognize. Tap on any specific device entry to see detailed information, including the model name, location, and the date of the last sync.
  5. Sign out of suspicious devices. If you identify an unknown device, tap the Sign out button located within the device details view. Confirm the action when prompted to immediately revoke access for that device.
  6. Secure your account credentials. After removing unrecognized devices, return to the Security tab. Select Signing in to Google and update your password or verify your 2-Step Verification settings to ensure future unauthorized access is blocked.
