How to Review and Manage App Logins on Android
Secure your accounts by auditing app access and saved passwords on your new Android device. Follow these steps to verify login activity.
- Open Google Password Manager. Open the Settings app on your phone. Scroll down and tap Passwords & accounts, then select Google under the Password Manager section to view all saved login credentials.
- Audit saved credentials. Review the list of apps and websites. Tap any entry to view the stored username. If you no longer use an application, select it and tap Delete to remove the stored login data.
- Review device access logs. Return to the main Settings menu. Tap Google, then select Manage your Google Account. Navigate to the Security tab and tap Your devices to see every active session currently logged into your account.
- Manage third-party app permissions. In the Security tab of your Google Account, locate the Connections to third-party apps & services section. Tap See all connections to review which external apps have access to your account data.
- Enable security alerts. Within the Security tab, ensure that your recovery email and phone number are up to date. Verify that 2-Step Verification is toggled to On for maximum account protection.
