How to Reset Network Settings on Android
Restore Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular configurations to factory defaults on your Android device to resolve connectivity issues.
- Access the System Settings menu. Unlock your device and locate the Settings app icon. Tap the gear icon to open the main configuration menu for your Android device.
- Locate the System or General Management menu. Scroll down to find System. On Samsung devices, this is labeled General Management. Tap the corresponding entry to proceed to the administrative options.
- Open the Reset options sub-menu. Tap on Reset options. If you do not see this immediately, tap Advanced to expand the hidden menu items. Select Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth to isolate the network settings.
- Confirm the network reset operation. Tap the Reset settings button located at the bottom of the screen. Enter your device PIN, pattern, or password when prompted to authenticate the request.
- Complete the process and restart. Tap Reset settings again on the final confirmation prompt. Wait for the confirmation message indicating that network settings have been reset. Restart your device to finalize the changes and refresh the radio hardware.
