How to Fix Google Photos Sync Issues on Android

- Confirm Backup Status. Open the Google Photos app and tap your profile icon in the top-right corner. Verify that Backup is toggled to On. If you see a warning icon, tap it to view specific synchronization errors.
- Check Storage Space. Navigate to the Google One app or the Google Photos settings menu under Manage Storage. Confirm your Google account has remaining storage capacity. If your cloud storage is full, syncing will halt immediately.
- Clear App Cache. Open Settings, select Apps, and tap See all apps. Find and select Photos, then tap Storage & cache. Select Clear cache to remove temporary data that may be obstructing the sync process.
